WHO WE SERVE · ACCELERATORS, INCUBATORS AND VENTURE STUDIOS

Which applicants should your program accept?

We work for accelerators, incubators and venture studios, whether a nonprofit, a company, a government or a university runs them, and for programs that bring startups from abroad to the US market. We sort every application in a cycle against your written criteria, all at once, and give a written reason for each company we leave off the shortlist. Your reviewers read the shortlist, and your committee picks the finalists. If you invest, we also check each finalist before your money goes out.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

HOW IT WORKS WITH YOU

How we sort your applications.

You send the applications and your criteria.

Export the applications from your platform, and tell us in your own words what makes a company right for your program.

Every company gets a reason.

The spreadsheet we return gives a reason for every company. Each one left off the shortlist also gets a note with the evidence, our test and what would change the verdict. The note says it measures fit with your program only, and does not grade the company. Anything we cannot settle is marked unresolved and goes back to you as a question for the applicant.

We work in batches, on your dates.

Send each batch when it closes. We sort it within two business days of your export, and one of our principals reads and signs the shortlist. Fees are agreed before any work begins.

We can also work inside your systems.

We can set up the sorting in your own systems, so each batch runs on your accounts and under your rules.

Your applicants are not our deal flow.

What you send about your applicants is never shown to another customer, and our principals do not use it for their own investing. The full rules are in our disclosures.

No fee from applicants.

We take no fee from your applicants for work on their applications, so only your criteria shape the shortlist.

No introductions.

For your finalists, we tell you what US investors will ask and what is missing. We do not introduce companies to investors or take part in a raise.

Send us last cycle's applications, and the companies you picked.

We sort one whole cycle of up to 150 applications within two business days, free, and you compare our shortlist with the cohort you chose.
